*Blaming McDonalds and other fast food chains for their own weight problems.

*Saying that thin models in fashion magazines influences young women to have eating disorders.
*Complaining that magazines airbrush their photos to make people buy certain products.

Why can’t people just accept the fact that we live in a free market society, where demand dictates supply. People want to eat at McDonalds, people want to see airbrushed photos (versus the sometimes less than attractive reality), people want to drink, smoke and listen the kind of music they like, watch the movies they want to watch, etc. If people didn’t want/buy these things, companies wouldn’t try to sell them to us.
Why do some people want to be controlled, instead of having the choice to do what they want for themselves?
It’s easier to blame someone else than realize you actually have to fix a problem.

I also recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get the free version of SpyBot Search & Destroy. This looks through your Registry and clears out other spyware and adware entries that Norton would leave behind. (Ad-aware does not look through registry entries)
